About the Course

A fully formed human fetus coming out of a small birth orifice is a natural marvel. It involves an involved interplay of body spaces, mechanical forces and tissues responding to parturient hormones. This course describes in detail the stages of obstetric labor, induction of labor, maneuvers in parturition; in brief the conditions obstructing progress of labor, and the prescribed medical attitude and support protocols for these.
