About the Course

Children’s immunity is not yet mature when they are born, not even for several years later. So they are prone to many infections in this early phase of life. This course discusses in detail the most common childhood infections like chicken pox, mumps, rubella, diphtheria, etc., including the causative agent, mode of transmission, pathogenesis, clinical features, diagnosis, and pharmacological treatment, vaccination and prevention.
