Malnutrition is a major public health problem in the developing and underdeveloped world. It is estimated that majority of world’s malnourished children are in South Asian and Sub Saharan regions of the world. This course covers the spectrum of childhood malnutrition: important topics like marasmus/kwashiorkor, rickets, scurvy, vitaminA deficiency, obesity etc. are elaborated.
